Staff Engineer

Torrance, California

Openings exist for two Staff Engineers at our Torrance, California office headquarters. These positions support a variety of environmental compliance and air emission inventory projects for client facilities located throughout the western United States. Work areas include annual emissions reporting, EPCRA SARA 313 toxic release inventory reporting (multi-media), environmental recordkeeping, compliance monitoring and reporting, greenhouse gas emissions planning and reporting, database development, water discharge reporting, and health risk assessment modeling. Ideal candidates will have graduated with a high college GPA, have strong written and verbal communication skills, are critical thinkers, and have an understanding for the rigors of consulting.

Qualified candidates should have a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, B.S. in Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline; and 1-5 years of related work experience. Individuals who are self-motivated, detail oriented, well organized, effective at meeting deadlines, and who thrive in a fast paced team environment are well suited for this position.
